The primary provider of railway services in Belgium is The National Railway Company of Belgium, also known as Nationale Maatschappij der Belgische Spoorwegen (NMBS) or Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Belges (SNCB). Its website provides detailed information about trains to and from Antwerp and enables online booking.

NMBS-SNCB is a member of Railteam, which is a cooperation between Europe's leading high-speed rail operators, including DB (Germany), SNCF (France), Eurostar UK (UK), NS Hispeed (Netherlands), ÖBB (Austria) and SBB (Switzerland) and, as well as their high-speed subsidiaries Eurostar, Thalys and Lyria.

Connections to several major European destinations, including Amsterdam via Antwerpen-Centraal and Paris via Antwerpen-Berchem, pass through Antwerp, but by connecting through Brussels South, travelers can reach most major European destinations.

The Eurostar train line links Brussels South with London St. Pancras, with the journey taking 1 hour and 51 minutes.
