FLANDERS INVESTMENT AND TRADE (F.I.T.)

Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) is a Flanders government agency whose mission it is to support home-based companies doing business abroad and foreign companies looking to set up or expand operations in Flanders, the northern region of Belgium. FIT has a network of foreign offices in more than 90 cities worldwide.

F.I.T.’s services are restricted to: Entrepreneurs (small and large companies) from a Belgian registered company with offices and/or a production unit in Flanders, who intend trading internationally, and will create a substantial added value to Flanders and consecutively contribute to employment in to employment in the Flanders region. F.I.T. does not provide services to exclusively import-based companies.

EVENTS

F.I.T. clusters a wide range of events and activities specifically aimed at improving your skills as an international entrepreneur. The programme, offered and organised by F.I.T. itself or by other organisations, includes workshops on various topics, such as customs procedures, country-specific contact-days, networking events and much more.

If you are looking for market information, addresses or contacts abroad (e.g. jewellers, diamond wholesale companies etc), you can a great deal of the data you need at Flanders Investment and Trade.

To gain access to the F.I.T. market intelligence databases online, an entrepreneur must first resister on the on the F.I.T. website. CLICK HERE to resister.

Once registered on the F.I.T. website, begin your information search from the Country and Sector Page, where you will be directed to Country Dossiers, Market/Sector Information, or Market Statistics.
You can also direct your questions to your "Antwerpen" Regional F.I.T.  The regional offices will respond to your questions as soon as possible, using information from existing databases and F.I.T.’s offices abroad.
