AWDC Café: UBO identification tool & How to register in the UBO register (FULLY BOOKED)

Since 31 October 2018, all companies and other legal entities need to register certain information about their ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) in the national UBO register. The UBO register is created in the Treasury Administration (FPS Finance). The deadline for registration of this information is 30 September 2019.

In case you have not yet registered the UBOs of your company in the UBO register, we kindly invite you to our next AWDC Café: UBO identification tool & How to register in the UBO register. During the AWDC café, lawyer Dave Van Moppes from Tuerlinckx Lawyers will explain who exactly are defined as UBOs and how you can determine the UBOs in your company, using examples of different company structures.

You will be provided of useful tools and guidance documents to be able to make this assessment for your own company. The speaker will explain which information exactly about the UBOs needs to be registered and which formalities need to be fulfilled to fulfill this legal obligation.
