Third generation in the diamond industry.

Brothers Stefan and Dennis Leemans are the third generation of their family working in the diamond industry. Together they run the Casa Gi family business, which designs and produces handmade luxury jewelry.

Dennis and Stefan grew up in the diamond industry. “Our grandmother worked as an executive secretary for a diamond trader, where our father worked during the holidays”, says Dennis. The Leemans brothers’ father stayed in the industry and started his own business, which mainly traded in rough and industrial diamonds.

Given that they were fascinated by the industry from a young age, it was reasonably self-evident that both brothers would end up in the business after graduating. “Our parents insisted that we first earn our diplomas before joining the business, so that we would always have something to fall back on.”

But Stefan and Dennis have no plans on doing anything else in the future. “The diamond industry is a fantastic business to work in. You not only work with a brilliant product, but because it is such an international industry, you meet very many people and travel all over the world.”
