How to request a login?

Go to www.adjobs.be – At the top of the screen you will see ‘login companies’ – If you do not have a login yet, click on ‘register’. A login can be requested via the ‘contact us’ button.

How to publish a vacancy online?

Go to www.adjobs.be – At the top of the screen you will see ‘login companies’ – Enter your login and password here. You will now have access to the system. – Under the 'my vacancies' tab you will see 'add job' at the top right. If you click on it, a number of fill-in fields will be displayed, including job description, profile, offer, etc. where text can be entered.

How to remove my vacancy?

Go to www.adjobs.be – At the top of the screen you will see ‘login companies’ – Enter your login and password here. You will now have access to the system. – Under the 'my vacancies' tab you will see all vacancies you have posted on AD JOBS. Click on the vacancy you want to archive. – Click on 'edit' and enter 'archived' at the bottom under 'job status'. A new screen will open where you have to fill in the date and reason of archiving.

I already have a login for AD Jobs, but I want to post a vacancy without mentioning the name of my company. Is that possible?

Why do I have to specify how the vacancy was filled?

AWDC tries to keep an overview of all vacancies which are online on AD JOBS and the reason why they are filled. Based on the feedback you give us, AWDC can adjust its promotion and media campaign in order to attract the right target group.

How do I write an adequate vacancy?

Writing a clear vacancy is important to attract the right candidate-applicants. A good vacancy contains 4 major components: company presentation – job content (description of the task package) – skills/competences (e.g. trilingual, diploma of secondary education, flexible, experience in the industry, etc.) – offer (e.g. permanent contract, in-company training, etc.). The AD JOBS service line can offer assistance.

Can I also post a vacancy for my office/plant abroad?

The job site is available in Dutch and English. In addition, you can select the place of employment from the 'drop-down menu'. 

How do I reply to applicants?

Go to www.adjobs.be – At the top of the screen you will see ‘login companies’ – Enter your login and password here. You will now have access to the system. – Under the 'my vacancies' tab you will see all the vacancies you have posted on AD JOBS. Click on the relevant vacancy and then click at the top right on 'applications'. Below you will find a list of all applicants. You can e.g. select (=check the box of) all applicants who were not chosen for the job. Then click on 'send message to selected users' at the bottom. – A new screen will be displayed where you can choose from 4 statuses, including 'not selected'. A standard message is always available in the text field. If you wish, you can edit or change the text according to your needs. Then click on 'send message'. This way all selected applicants will receive this message in a separate mail.
The tool can help you to quickly send a message to a large number of applicants.

Can I see which message I sent to which applicants and when?

If you consult the list of applicants, linked to a certain vacancy (i.e. not from the recruitment reserve), you will see the status (selected, not selected, etc.) of each applicant. If you click on the bullet on the right-hand side, you can find the information at the bottom and see which status was assigned to this applicant and when.

Do I have to send a response to everyone who applied, even if they do not qualify?

As a company it is in your own interest to reply to all applicants (selected or not) who send you an application. This shows that you are handling the selection process professionally and that this is also the attitude expected from your employees. So, if you want to boost your corporate image, make sure to send a reply to all your applicants.

Do only people who have previously worked in the industry apply?

AD JOBS is a platform that gives access to everyone who wants to work in the sector. Both people who already work in the diamond sector, and people from other sectors.

What do I have to do when I recruited someone?

If you have found a new colleague make sure to archive the vacancy as soon as possible.
