Chair Kimberley Process visits Antwerp

The Chair of the Kimberley Process (KP), His Excellency Mr. Ambassador Welile Nhlapo, visited Antwerp on Thursday, July 12th. The Ambassador had a meeting with the AWDC Senior Management and the focal point for the Administrative Support Mechanisme (ASM) of the KP. The visit included a short Meet & Greet between the Ambassador and a delegation of Antwerp diamond companies.

The visit allowed the Chair of the KP and AWDC to discuss KP affairs in detail. The Administrative Support Mechanism and the important role of Antwerp within the ASM, were also on the agenda. The ASM, supported by Antwerp, is in charge of all the necessary administrative support to the KP.
