FACETS2024: Navigating a New Era in the Diamond Industry

We are excited to announce the third edition of FACETS2024, themed “Navigating a New Era,” set to take place on November 26 and 27, 2024, at the historic Handelsbeurs (stock exchange) in Antwerp, Belgium. This prestigious event, following successful editions in Antwerp and Gaborone, will bring together industry leaders and high-level politicians for an inclusive dialogue on the future of the diamond industry. This edition is organized in partnership with retail brand representative the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030 (WJI2030).

Why Antwerp?

For over 577 years, Antwerp has been the global heart of the diamond trade. Hosting FACETS2024 here underscores our city’s critical role and enduring leadership. The event will address pressing industry challenges, from the evolving mining landscape and midstream trader adaptability to retailer and brand challenges in reaching consumers. A significant focus will be on origin and transparency, driven by consumer demand and geopolitical tensions.

Navigating a New Era

In an era where disruption is the norm, and new challenges emerge daily, we will delve into how current events are impacting the fundamentals of our industry, from an evolving mining landscape, the adaptability of midstream traders, the challenges faced by retailers and brands in reaching consumers, to the growing emphasis on origin and transparency, driven by consumer demand and geopolitical tensions.

We anticipate welcoming around 350 guests and speakers in 2024, providing a platform for networking, learning, and showcasing innovation.
