In 2020 the city of Antwerp launched an innovation program for the diamond industry, together with innovation agency Verhaert. This Antwerp Diamond Innovation Opportunities program aims to contribute to future-proofing the diamond industry.
This year, 4 diamond related organizations participated in the free innovation coaching program: iTraceiT, Konfidi, Clarity Capital Finance and Bonas Group. In the updated report 2025, you will read their testimonial, what innovation they realized and the insights they can share.
The city also called on an expert committee to update the innovation opportunities for the industry. You can consult these in the report.

In 2026, the city of Antwerp is again offering one-on-one coaching tracks where you will be free-of-charge guided by a professional innovation agency in the areas of automation, digitalisation, AI/data analysis, sustainability/ESG and business strategy, process, product and service innovation.
