Starting with the September invoicing cycle (invoices issued October 2), AWDC will charge the €40 Diamond Office minimum fee only once per shipment with polished diamonds, in the case of multiple minimum fee lines instead of once per declaration line.
What is changing?
When a shipment containing polished diamonds consists of multiple declaration lines to which the €40 minimum fee applies, the €40 minimum fee will from now on be charged only once per shipment, instead of per line. This applies only when the total value of the entire shipment (all lines combined) is less than €100,000.
AWDC and its Board of Directors are committed to supporting all companies in the Antwerp diamond sector. With this adjustment, AWDC aims to reduce costs for companies that regularly import or export shipments of polished diamonds with a total value below €100,000. This prevents Diamond Office fees from unnecessarily accumulating when a shipment consists of multiple lines.
