This week, various media outlets reported on potential retaliatory tariffs on products imported from the United States.
We want to inform you that over the past few days, AWDC has actively engaged in face-to-face meetings with both the US and EU Commission in response to these reports. During these discussions, we emphasized the severe impact such tariffs—on either side—would have on Antwerp. Our concerns have been acknowledged, and we will continue to advocate on all levels of government and authority to protect Antwerp’s interests.
