Social Inspection Department
Each employer can be inspected by the Belgian Social Inspection Department (Directie Generaal Sociale Inspectie), who will verify the correct application of Belgian labour law (for example the correct application of social security legislation, annual leave, work-related accidents, child benefit, illness and disability insurance, DIMONA, part-time work, employment of foreign employees, etc.).
