Antwerp Diamond Visitor Program - Turkey

From 4 – 6 May 2015, the Antwerp World Diamond Center will organize the Turkish Visitor Program in collaboration with HRD Antwerp and Borsa Istanbul. During this event a top delegation of Turkish diamond jewelers, jewelry wholesalers and manufacturers will visit Antwerp for a three-day networking program.

The Turkish luxury market has been growing notably in recent years and will continue to expand further in the future, acting as a bridge between Europe and Asia. Retail sales prices of luxury jewelry and timepieces increased in Turkey by 12% in 2014 and this trend is expected to continue in the coming years. Diamond sales in Turkey are also increasing, not in the least due to an general increase in disposable income among women, a decrease in unemployment and a growing middle class.
