In the framework of the upcoming Mining Indaba in Cape Town, South Africa, the Ambassador of Belgium to South Africa, H.E. Mr Hubert Cooreman, and Mr. Marc Schiltz, Trade and Investment Counsellor at Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT), and the President of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC), Mr Stéphane Fischler, will be organizing a walking dinner at the Antwerp Diamond Night.
The event will be held on Monday, 5 February 2018 at 7 pm at the ATLANTIC IMBIZO in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town.
Following the success of the previous walking dinner in Cape Town, as well as that of the African Diamond Conference in Belgium in November 2017, we would like to take this opportunity to further strengthen our relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation.
The dinner will take place in the presence of:
- Hon. Keketso Sello, Minister of Mining of Lesotho
- Hon. Leopold Mboli Fatran, Minister of Mining and Geology of the Central African Republic (CAR)
- Ambassador Philippe Beke, Senior Policy Advisor for the Kimberley Process at the European Commission, the EU being the KP Chair in 2018
