Foreign Affairs launches registration tool for those who travel outside the EU

Do you often travel outside the EU? Then sign up now on the new Foreign Affairs website. In the event of a disaster, Foreign Affairs can then send information almost immediately and, if necessary, contact all those who have registered at that location. Furthermore, it enables you to contact fellow countrymen at your location easily and quickly. Registration only takes a few minutes.

On the new website, travellersonline.diplomatie.be, you enter personal information and your travel destination. You can also add a contact in Belgium and insurance details. Everything will be deleted two weeks after your return.

The initiative is a continuing development of an initial test conducted last year during the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Foreign Affairs is now extending it to all those who travel outside the EU, and near the end of the year will also add travels inside the EU.
