For the first time, diamonds from the OrigemA project will be offered for sale in Antwerp through a tender at Bonas.
The tender features artisanal rough diamonds from the Kamana Ndeke mine in the Kasaï region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Every diamond is 100% traceable through OrigemA's pilot traceability system, providing buyers transparency regarding origin and supply chain.
OrigemA was created to connect artisanal mining communities directly to international markets while ensuring they receive fair value for their production. By participating in this tender, buyers gain access to a unique source of natural rough diamonds and contribute to a more transparent and inclusive diamond supply chain.
Support over 1000 people in the community
The diamonds offered during this tender help support more than 1,000 people in the Kasaï region who depend directly or indirectly on artisanal diamond mining.
