Last month, Syndikaat der Belgische Diamantnijverheid (SBD) collaborated with Business in Antwerp on the Diamond Innovation Connect event. Among the attendees were industry experts, innovators, and diamond professionals. The Alderman for Port and Economy, Johan Klaps, gave a welcoming speech and kicked off the day of insightful keynotes and presentations.
Some of the topics that were presented: the Antwerp Diamond Innovation Opportunity Program presented by the City of Antwerp and Verhaert, a keynote session by Dott Achilles, and a presentation on support and subsidies by VLAIO (Vlaamse Adviesraad voor Innoveren en Ondernemen).
The event also provided some one-on-one discussions , allowing attendees to exchange innovation ideas with the speakers and experts.
