Public holidays in Belgium
Belgium has ten public holidays which need to be considered as extra days off. These days are paid as if they were regular working days. Please find an overview of the public holiday calendar below.
In addition to these public holidays, sectorial agreements (Collectieve Arbeids-overeenkomsten or CAO’s) might add sectorial holidays. For example, sometimes, the Flemish Holiday (11th July, Vlaamse Feestdag) is included as an extra paid holiday.
